One of my sites is being featured in a popular newspaper in India. The problem is that it has a very regional reach . It is very popular in only one part of the country, so I expect a surge of traffic on my website from that region. I have read various posts on this forum of the danger of region specific traffic w.r.t. adSense. Should I mail google with a copy of the article as it is published? Is there really a danger w.r.t. adSense, if there is too much traffic from a couple of specific cities in the country. Traffic is expected to atleast jump many folds in the short term. However the longterm effect has to be seen. Any Ideas?

Probably wouldn't hurt to let adsense know, however I shouldn't think that it would cause a problem, unless there is going to be a lot of traffic from the same IP adress!. Personally I uploaded a massive website with lots of adsense on it resulting in a massive increase in adsense traffic almost over night and it caused absolutely no prob. As long as your site is within Adsense parameters it should be fine.
