I have a fan site and the most hit page topic is about the death and funeral of the performer. I have inserted a 250x250 bock ad on the page... but never get any ads showing as it considered a "stop word"

Now my dilemma is - with the anniversary coming up and I would love to get some revenue happening... any suggestion how I can generate at least one adsense ad?

Just brainstorming...

Think of death as a journey to another world, dimension, heaven, etc. Example: He has left this world on a wonderful journey to "_____" (fill in the blank).

There are many words or phrases that could be used instead of "death". Same with funerals. Some regard them as a "celebration of life".

Perhaps a thesaurus needs to visit your fingertips. Or, do some searching around and see what words others have used. You may get some great ideas.

Interestingly your single Google Ad Unit in the lhs column is showing me an ad...about making a will!

I tell you what may be worth trying to see what it generates and that is to remove the stop words from your title bar and meta tags but see below...

My Google is actually showing me death related ads when I search for "death" however, considering it is a huge business, very, very few ads whatsoever. Delving further and there is actually an ad for "Elvis death" however I doubt that is what you wish to display.

Google allows you to create a specific phrase for their bot to spider and display the correct ad content known as Section Targeting.

[google.com...]

That ought to resolve your problem.
