MFA cure?

How about no Adsense on landing pages?

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I was wondering why Google even allows Adsense on Adwords landing pages? Presumably, if you're advertising with Adwords, you're selling a product. Having Adsense on the landing page is what makes arbitrage possible for the MFA spammers. Google should prevent this (and disallow redirects or cloaking) on the landing page.

The downside is possibly less money for Google overall due to fewer spammy MFA advertisers, though I'd imagine Google would probably make more since Adwords campaigns would be more relevant overall. Also, there's a possibility for a denial of service attack: your competitor buys a cheap campaign and points the landing page to your home page to prevent your Adsense ads from appearing. However, this would be easy to detect since Google can notify the affected Adsense account before taking action.

Then the question should be asked, "What if an MFA uses a landing page that contains a simple link saying: 'Click Here To Proceed'. Once the user clicks, they land on the MFA page with 3 ad units plastered in front of them.

Of course, Google's new QS system and landing page quality update is supposed to combat this type of issue.

What about people who serve up ads based on region? For example, if I sold widgets for Germans, I may wish to serve adverts on the page for people from other countries, as they wouldn't be interested in the German widgets.

Not that I expect Google to come out with a policy like this anyways, but that "click here to proceed" step would cost you half your traffic and probably make any MFA unprofitable.
