AdSense Revenue Sharing

Is this against G's T&C?

Hi, I just visited another forum for the first time, (not sure if it's ok to say the name of it, so at this point, I will not, as I do not want to break WW's TOS either).

This forum gives you a portion of the AdSense revenue for threads you start. You have to give them your AdSense pub id in order to do it. They say they can find nothing in the AdSense rules that say it is not allowed and they also say that you needn't worry about them having your pub id as it is available to anyone who views the source where your AdSense code is, (true).

If this is old news to many of you, please forgive me. I've heard something about revenue sharing before but had not ever been to a website that does this that I know of before now.

Does anyone here participate in revenue sharing? Is it totally ok with G? It is not worth doing it, if it gets me banned. Also, just wondering if anyone here does participate, is the money worth it?

Thanks as always!

it is allowed but the one thing you would have to be wary of is that you will lose control over your publisher id. By that I mean if there is click abuse (invalid clicks) on that site will you simply get busted as being a related person? Answer YES. Also Google will NOT tell you what site produced invalid clicks -your own or the other site. Which I think is actually the anser to this thread [webmasterworld.com...] (Friend - and yes I do mean friend) was participating in a revenue share deal which he had forgotten about, which involved writing tech reviews.

You have to give them your AdSense pub id in order to do it.

Uhh... don't... you'll probably be sorry if you do.

When I got involved with AdSense and was doing some research, I found that site. It struck me as a gimmick.

I had forgotten about it, and that would be my advice to you.

Good content + good traffic + good ads = good earnings.

Thank you everyone. That is why I read this forum. I do not want to do anything that would get me banned, so that is why I ask advice before doing anything.

I'll clearly forget about it, it's just not worth it.
