One that has 450 links to vi@gr@ and g@mbling sites can easily be identified as a bad one. But what else: will those sites rank for their name, cache daily or what else?
No, I have no intention on buying, selling or exchanging links with them. I'm just curious. I know that sites with no trust no longer get indexed daily, but I don't know if this applies to 'bad neighborhood' sites or not. What do you think?
This kind of place usually has very minor content value - that's usually something that jumps out at you if you dare take the time to visit, and it's unlikely you would want to link to such a site from your own quality site.
There's nothing about a pharmacy link or gambling link that is inherently a bad neighborhood, although certainly some of them are card carrying members. So from what I understand the answer is "yes, you will know if you visit there".
