Titles and Capitalization Competitor IS IN ALL CAPS, should I be too?

Capitalization seems to be playing a role for an article in which I hold top spot and my competitor is drawing more traffic from 2nd with the exact same title BUT IN ALL CAPITALS.

I have to admit, if the keyword searched for returns an exact match that has every letter capitalized the bold effect looks good, the words appear bigger and in the case of my one example they draw more traffic (according to a less than always accurate reporting service, which I won't name).

That would be something to experiment with - I personal almost never click on an all capital title (I don't respond well to being shouted at) but I know I'm not the usual searcher.

FWIW, a major free classified site with zillions of ads and page views, says in their "how to write ads" that they find over their massive sample that headlines in all caps convert worse.

They provide no data, but there it is.

Just a quick heads up but I have a sneaky feeling Google weights all caps similarly to <strong> <b> <i> Etc. Any one else noticed similar?

If this question is based on an analysis from non accurate reporting, does that report show your traffic higher or lower?
What about that competition page being hit by other keywords where you don't have the first spot in the serps?

I'd be very interested in hearing back about the results to that test, if it was ever done.
We're in a similar situation on 2 major keywords. Our competitor has stronger backlinks and every few weeks swaps with us for no 1, but we don't know their traffic obviously.
Maybe an experiment with a small ads listing?
Any feedback on this one?
