Google Images adding older photos - everything old is new again

I've noticed that my Google Images site:example.com numbers have shot up about 100 images and most of the "new" images were from a big "widget" event we covered back in 1999!
Okay, so hopefully Google images will start working their way through history again and we'll get back to the pre-2006 massacre numbers of 4000+ indexed photos. Only 3500 to go. :-)
