Hello everyone,

I got an issue !
I have a website in two languages French and English.
The main language at the root domain is French www.example.com
and the English is at www.example.com/en

I want to change that and have English at the root domain www.example.com
and French at www.example.com/fr

what line of code do I need to change or add!

Please HELP ! my webmaster screwed up and it is killing me to optimize my website in English.

It's unlikely that there's a single line of code that's going to do it. A lot will depend on what technology is used in your website. But this is the Google Search forum and not a technical server forum - so let's talk about the search results side of things.

If you change an established url, then you should point a 301 redirect from the old url to the new one. However, if this is a brand new site, then maybe you just want to make the change immediately before things go on for too much longer.
