A momentary freaky bug? A Saturday maintenance bump? Or a sign that a major reindexing is taking place?
Any thoughts?
Yesterday when i checked out google sitemap tool, i noticed some changes.
Crawl rate already shows me in graphic how google had crawled my site in December.
Page with the highest PageRank has changed and shows
www.example.com/?PHPSESSID=1c9eb347d770d93ad076f8ae3106319a
although googlebot is filtered not to see sessions and if it goes to page with session server will return 404 error. This filter is up from start of November.

In this thread - [webmasterworld.com...] - bad common words were being taken from a previous owner's version of the site. It looks like GWT is tapping into historical data at the moment, at least for some site owners.
I can't figure out the Query Stats in Google Sitemaps.
I have a site that the Query Stats says is appearing for various searches, but I can never find the site in the Google serps (across multiple datacenters) for any of the search phrases it is supposedly ranking for.
Anyone know why this is?

They are DEFINITELY doing some shifting on SERPS though, without a doubt...I have seen some really weird things going on with them. Also, have noticed they seem to be stopping the use of dance tools, etc....anyone else notice those dance tools are not working right these last few days?
You're seeing this activity now because last month, we started rechecking verification a little more often than before.
But it does seem like a better message in GWT would be a good idea. Tech people tend not to appreciate the end effect of their automated "communications". Like I said at Pubcon, "Don't let the tech staff write your copy".
Don't let the tech staff write your copy
That was likely one of the best pieces of advice anyone could have given Google. Warning messages and notifications can scare the crud out of a webmaster if they aren't written properly.
I think a "We're updating our information right now, please check back again in a few hours after things have a chance to settle" would be better than a message that no pages are indexed, or that the site needs to be verified.
We lost Google referral traffic Oct 21, back 28 days later, lost it all again on the 2nd Dec.
Beginning to wonder if the tools are worth looking at - especially when the crawl errors seem to be to URL's that do not exist!
added: or maybe inbound links are incorrect...
Seems like a very user unfriendly way of going about it, but they know best, right?
It says that we have no pages indexed in Google however I see many pages and we havent done anything that would cause an issue. Is this a bug in the tools or should I be worried?

Your comment is most appreciated.
The pages do not show when I use that tool.
We had used the blogger system to publish a news service and news feed.
My people followed their instructions and put the system on our server.
That turned out to be a mistake. It caused all sorts of duplicate content problems.
We deleted everything from the server and cancelled the blog.
It was replaced by another publishing system recommended by someone on this board.
We cannot find the URLs anywhere.
But it appears that some of the data is still somewhere in the google system.
Also shows no pages in index.
Also noticed eval.google.com results showing up in google.com. I know the results returned depend on which datacenter is used, but this the first time I have noticed that the results mirror one another.
We have been running a site for almost 8 months now and we have done most things correctly, certainly nothing to violate google guidelines, but we have made adjustments along the way to improve ourselves while we are in the 'sandbox'. We have 2000 pages so far, 1200 of which are cached by google, but 1100 of which are in the supps. We have not ranked for anything other than our page name and some very random off topic phrases that appear in our news results. Now, all of a sudden there is this message in our Webmaster Tools at Google that is worrying the heck out of us. Can someone please tell me if this is new, if this is a statement that is admitting there is a sandbox, or if this message is an old message and I just never caught any info about it. Thanks.
Message:
"No pages from your site are currently included in Google's index. Indexing can take time. You may find it helpful to review our information for webmasters and webmaster guidelines."
