The EU's court in Luxembourg is hearing evidence today from stakeholders involved in the proposed extension to world-wide of the 'right to be forgotten' and Google remains firmly opposed to the policy.

While on an individual privacy level, it's easy to agree with one's 'right to be forgotten.'

From big tech's point of view, this could easily develop into 'frivolous lawsuits' sucking undue resources.

Beyond imposing fines, can the EU really force Google, or anyone else, to comply?
