Quick, raise the flag in the how not to upset customers department. The Google Alphabet public relations machine should be providing new tech to all the customer affected, imho.

It begs the question, how long should support be provided? Not just this product, but for any product. Technology is always moving forward very quickly, and for some it's trendy, if not essential, to have the latest and greatest. However, when you buy a product, what is a reasonable life you should expect?
