Google Sends Web Traffic Through Asia, Causing Outages

An error in one of our systems caused us to direct some of our web traffic through Asia, which created a traffic jam. As a result, about 14% of our users experienced slow services or even interruptions.

I'm curious as to how much lost revenue that equates to..
I saw a neat graph that illustrated the drop, pretty severe on it's impact..maybe I should get my CCIE to help them out..

Minimal for them, but a large chunk of money to us (from our perspective that is) :)

Google may have created a number of things, but they did *NOT* create traffic jams in Asia. :)
