I notice it supports "differential access" and elsewhere I have read that it can offer more data to "trusted parties".

Yet another advantage for the big players?

Some of the trusted parties will be law enforcement. Could be the end of the road for some WHOIS aggregator services though.

It broke something that was working and the 16th century morons in the EU trying to legislate for the 21st century really caused problems with their GDPR rubbish.
