What is the best way to protect my company's unique, handwritten, well-researched articles?
I realize that the web is the web, and if the information is out there in public view, anyone can copy it. But is there a way that I can denote that the article is my company's and that any search engine that encounters this article or a scraped version will realize the true source of the article?
I was thinking that maybe Google's G+ system might work. If you add the rel=author attribute, and link your author page to your G+ account, Google knows you are the author of that content. Now, the purpose of that is to be able to show your picture in the SERPs, but certainly a byproduct is that Google officially recognizes you are the content author...?
I need to apply that on a commercial, site-wide scale.
Any ideas?
