Naturally, if somebody else is involved in the translating, you'd want to clarify the issue of ownership of the translated result. But if this is a "work for hire" (that is, if you are paying for the translation service), you should be able to obtain a clear statement to the effect that the translator claims to rights to the final product. Since the translated article is a "derivative" work, unless you somehow sign away your rights to the translated version, you should still own the copyright.
For specifics, of course, speak with a attorney licensed to practice in your jurisdiction.
