Proper Press Release Reprint Format

What is the proper press release reprint format?

Hello. Is there a "proper" (or accepted) format for reprinting press releases? For example, a press release may state:
MEDIA ADVISORY, Aug. 28 /Christian Newswire/ -- With a last minute appeal ...

Now, how much of this is one expected to reprint? Just, "With a last minute appeal..."? All of it? What if I cite the source elsewhere on the same page?

Thanks. :)

You can print as much or as little as you want unless it says something about a restriction on the press release.

Most releases are so biased, riddled with keywords, etc that you are going to have to edit them heavily to get anything that can will make sense to a reader :-)

Most newspapers and news sites use press releases as the basis for their own stories, not as sent. Huge negative in reprinting exactly anyway as loads of auto sites and lazy ones will do the same.

You can always reference in the copy, like in a statement released today X said Y to Z.
