I recall a conversation not that many years ago in which the executive assured me that his B2B customers didn't like to order via the Web and that enabling that possibility would be a waste of money.
As the article notes, though, these same tools can be used for business gain.
I think social network tools do pose a dilemma. They can be time-wasters, and not everyone is going to be using them for business. The possibility of making the company look bad by having employees "broadcasting" with no controls exists, too.
