I've been researching online and noticing a lot of websites calling themselves a CPA (Cost Per Action) network.
Are CPA network sites the same as Affiliate network sites?
After reading what these CPA networks are and do; it sounds to me like they are just an Affiliate network site, but I'm curious why the change to "CPA networks" now?
Thank you,

Also, when some people think of "affiliate marketing" then just think of a traditional commission structure when someone makes a purchase through an affiliate link. CPA is more broad, including paying for clicks, paying for leads, etc.
Affiliate Networks are like CJ, Google Affiliate Network and Linkshare. They are more PRODUCT oriented, have things like datafeeds and coupons. They also have some pay per lead merchants.
CPA networks are like Azoogle, Neverblue and Hydra. They don't typically do retail products and are more OFFER based. Free trials, rebills, zip submits, win a free ipod type of offers.
My 2 cents...
